Policeman benefiting from legalization of foreigners punished in Homel
Penalty has been inflicted on a Homel policeman who benefited from legalization of Azerbaijanians and Uzbeks.
A former employee of the department of citizenship and migration of Homel District Department of the Interior Alyaksandr Tsyalechanka organized “business” together with a citizen of Azerbaijan who found him “clients”.
Foreigners could prolong their residence time in our country for 100-500 dollars.
The policeman was detained by KGB in spring. He has been sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment recently. His aide got 6 years, reports the “Respublica” newspaper.
