Policemen fail to prove in court they have been bitten by a woman

The Court of Maladechna did not consider the case of Sviatlana Baraichuk, who came to the police department to file a complaint at Makey, but found herself in prison instead. The judge sent the documents back to the district department of internal affairs in order they "correct the shortcomings". Maladechna district court declined pretensions of representatives of local district department of internal affairs to Sviatlana Baraichuk. Let us remind you, that the lady came to the police department to file a complaint at the Head of the President's Administration Uladzimir Makey, claiming he had broken the Law "On Ctizens Appeals". However, she found herself in prison in the end of it all. The policemen made two charges against her and her father Andrej Parahnenka. Sviatlana was accused that she allegedly  "grasped the policemen's clothes, fell on the floor, tried to bite a policeman, cried, and resisted to legal demands of the policemen". She spent the night in the police department, and on Tuesday there was a court trial. The judge sent the documents back to the police department.

“The materials have been returned to the district department of internal affairs for correction of shortcomings”, — informed a representative of the office on administrative cases of Maladechna district court, to the European Radio for Belarus.

According to the court's representative, the policemen made plenty of mistakes in their charges:

“It is not stated in the charges on administrative offences which exactly representative of Maladechna district internal affairs department she resisted to, in connection with which circumstances he fulfilled his professional duties. The note "during an attempt to conduct examination" is not complete. It is not clear whether Baraichuk and Parahnenka (Sviatlana Baraichuk's father who accompanied her - Euroradio)  were in subordination of this concrete policeman, the exact time of commitment of the administrative offence is not indicated. The charge also does not say whom Baraichuk wanted to attack and whether she declared disrespect for the society".

The court's representative informed that the father and the daughter had been released and had gone home. The next court trial is to take place in no later than two months. Thus, according to her, the policemen should hurry to correct the mistakes in the charges if they want this case to be finished. They are also supposed to bring witnesses to the next trial.

Let us remind you that  Sviatlana Baraichuk claimed that Uladzimir Makey failed to respond to the official request for a personal meeting, dated September 2. Sviatlana and several more people from Maladechna wanted to meet Makey personally on order to tell about corruption crimes committed by the staff of the President's aAdministration, as well as to submit documents, speak about the facts of the crimes and demand he should give an order to the law-enforcement authorities to investigate the cases.

“We came to the Maladechna district department of internal affairs at about 1.15 p.m. to submit a claim about the crime committed by the representatives of the President's Administration. A policeman Puzareuski came over to me saying he wanted to talk to me about a document from the President's Administration which he allegedly had. We came to the Room No. 108, and there was a letter from the Administration asking the police should talk to me so that I stopped writing claims, as I provide false information about the staff of the President's Administration, — said Sviatlana.

In the end, if the case is considered by the court and the woman is found guilty, she might be fined for 700 thousand roubles or more for disobeying the police. She can also be punished with a fine for 70 thousand or more or 3-15 days of detention for other offences.
