Polish visas to be given out according to Schengen rules but at the old price
The innovation will come into power on December 1 but the new rules will be introduced only till the end of the year. The press secretary of the Polish Embassy to Belarus Monica Sadkowska has informed ERB about it.
“Consulates located in Belarus will start working according to new rules from December 1 instead of November 1 and it will continue till December 31. Moreover, the cost of visas that will be valid till December 31 will not change even if you get them in December. The visa rules will match Schengen rules but the fee will not change till the end of the year”.
Ms. Sadkowska noted that it was not clear when Poland started giving out Schengen visas.
“We will start giving out Schengen visas when we join the Schengen Agreement and it will happen after January 1, 2008”.
