Political prisoner Alyaksandr Frantskevich released
Anarchist Alyaksandr Frantskevich will remain under police supervision for six months.
The news is reported by Radio Racyja, quoting Tacciana Frantskevich, the mother of political prisoner. Together with the defense lawyer, she visited her son in the colony. The ruling was made by a court in prison on August 30.
The mother says the prison's administration asked for two years of police supervision for Frantskevich, but the judge ruled only six months.
Alyaksandr Frantskevich was sentenced to three years in prison in the so called 'anarchist case.' He is serving his term in the prison colony dubbed 'Wolf's Den' in Ivatsevichy.

Alyaksandr Frantskevich was arrested in September 2010 and sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment in May 2011.
He felt pressure all the time and the other convicts felt the same, he told Radio Liberty. “If you are strong, you will endure it no matter why you are in prison,” Alyaksandr said. “My views have not changed and I have become firm in my beliefs,” he added.
Alyaksandr Frantskevich is a programmer. He is planning to go back to his employer. “I haven’t touched a PC for three years but it was so tempting when I saw the guards using one,” he confessed.
Frantskevich will live surveillance in Navapolatsk. He is hoping to be transferred to Minsk later.
