Poll: Malady Front is the most known non-governmental youth group

The Czech-registered international youth organization Malady Front (Youth Front) is the most known non-governmental youth group in Belarus, according to the poll returns, released by the Independent Institute of Social, Economic and Political Studies. The leaders of the poll are the state-run pro-governmental Belarusian Republican Union of Youth (BRSM) with 63.7 percent and Belarusian Republican Organization of Pioneers (12.9 percent). Out of non-governmental youth groups, only Malady Front has overcome the 3%-statistic error barrier with 8.3 percent.

36.7 percent of those polled were positive about the activities of BRSM and 19.7 percent about BRPA. 10.8 percent of respondents said they were positive about the operation of non-governmental youth organizations.

Malady Front's operation was asssessed positively by 6 percent of those polls against 3.7 percent with negative attitude, reports Belapan news agency.
