Private printing house refuses to publish independent newspaper SN+
Editors are urgently looking for a new printing house in Belarus.
The latest issue of Svobodnyie novosti did not hit the market and was not even printed. The printing house, Plutas market, explained this as a technical glitch. However, other newspapers there are still being printed.
Editor in chief Vasil Zdanyuk does not believe it is a "technical glitch". He believes that the reason for the absence of the issue are the latest developments in the country. The editors are now looking for a new printing house.
"We are looking for a new printing house in Belarus. With our circulation, bringing the printed newspaper from Russia is simply unrealistic. Our circulation is 30,000 copies," said Vasil Zdanyuk.
