Pupils protesting against benefits cancellation detained in Mazyr
22 pupils and students have been detained during an unauthorized protest action against the cancellation of benefits in Mozyr today.
According to an activist of the youth democratic movement Yury Charankou, young people went to the town’s central square with transparencies containing protests against the benefits cancellation.
High school pupils, students of Mozyr pedagogical university and colleges were among them.
All the detained are in Mozyr City Department of the Interior now. Parents of minors, headmasters, teachers and the head of the department of education of the City Executive Committee have been called there.
