The conference will be given in the office of the United Civil Party.
Carrier agent Syarhei Shtoda was released from jail yesterday. He is going to give a press conference in Minsk. It will be organized in the office of the United Civil Party and will start at 11 a.m.
Carrier agents represented by Shtoda wanted to demand a partial amnesty for BellToll fines. The system was introduced before carrier agents had been explained how to work with it and it resulted in huge fines reaching dozens of thousands euro. Carrier agents wanted to organize a protest action in Minsk and record a video appeal to Alyaksandr Lukashenka in front of the House of the Government. However, Syarhei Shtoda went to meet senior vice PM Vasil Matsyusheuski on February 3 and disappeared. It turned out that the businessman had been accused of using bad language and jailed for 15 days. The action was not held.
Syarhei Shtoda is expected to describe the details of his arrest today.
