Remains of 300 Jews shot by Nazis found in Brest
Remnants of more than 300 Jews shot by Nazis in the wartime have been found in Brest. The head of Brest Jewish civil organization “Brisk” Barys Bruk found the place where people were eliminated with the help of written sources. Soldiers from a search battalion started working there at the end of summer and defined the borders of the burial place - 300x200 metres.
A memory sign is planned to be installed in the burial place in the future, informs BelaPAN.
