Activist Mouchan suspected in beating himself
"European Belarus" ativist Andrei Mouchan, beaten by police, visited the Investigation Committee on June 8.
He has informed to Radio Liberty, that the investigators talked to him for an hour and said he could have beaten himself.
Let us remind you, on May 19 Andrei Mouchan hoisted the white-red-white flag near the "Pershamaiski" department store in Minsk, thus expressing his solidarity with political prisoner Syarhei Kavalenka. The policemen detained him and beat brutally. According to the doctors' preliminary conclusion Andrei had fractures of the under-jaw and ribs, his kidneys and legs were beaten off.
On May 25 Mouchan was discharged from the ambulance hospital. The expert conclusion claims that he only had a brain trauma of light severity. Fractures of the under-jaw and ribs, as well as other traumas are under the question mark. Andrei Mouchan is on a sick leave till June 11.
