Belarusian President: Lots of money spent on “Eurovision” for zero result
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has commented on Belarus’ participation in the international song contest “Eurovision” that took place in Baku a few days ago.
Let us remind you that the band “Litesound” only managed to take the 16th position in the semi-final and did not make it to the final of “Eurovision”.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka thinks that “the approach to the contest should undergo serious changes”. It will be necessary to pay more attention to the vocal next year, noted the Belarusian leader. “We need to make a good performance, find a unique singer who would be able to impress specialists. The European community would have to asses themselves for the points they give”, - informs BelTA quoting Lukashenka.
He stressed: “If you lose, you should lose with dignity”.
