Belarusians’ trial to continue in Libya on May 21
The decision has been made by Tripoli court martial today, on May 7.
The agency “Interfax-Ukraine” has informed about it referring to press secretary of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexander Dikusarev. Let us remind you that about 20 Ukrainians and two Russians are standing trial together with three Belarusians. All of them are accused of military equipment supplies to the Muammar Gaddafi regime. The detained claim that they were hired to work in oilfields.
The prosecution and defense presented new case papers at the hearing on Monday and claimed that it was necessary to study the documents.
