Bicycle season festively closed in Homel, despite rain (photo)
About 50 cyclists dared to ride along the whole city center under the pouring rain.
Homel cyclists started from the Rebellion Square, rode through the central streets of the city and finished the race at the other bank of the river Sozh. They installed a tent camp there and stayed there for the night. The participants of the event also organized different contests and various quiz shows.
On the second day, today, the Homel cyclists will conduct a bicycle race, discuss this year's results and announce the "Bicycle season-2011" officially closed in the end of the night.
However, one of the participants of the community "Cycling Homel" has told to Euroradio that this doesn't mean they cannot cycle even in winter.
