It happened at about 11.30.
Several participants of the Onliner forum witnessed the event. According to them, it looked like the upper floor of the hotel, which is closed for reconstruction, was burning. It was also informed that two fire-engines drove in the hotel's direction along the Peramozhtsau Ave.
The Ministry of Emergency situations informed that bitum was burning on the roof of the hotel. The fire was extinguished at 11.46. The fire damaged several meters of the roof. The reasons are being clarified.
