European diplomats visit Kurapaty
Heads of the EU diplomatic mission have visited Kurapaty Tract today, on November 3. Victims of Stalin terror are buried there.
Visiting the tract on Dzydy, the day of commemoration of ancestors, has become a tradition for EU diplomats. They commemorated victims of Stalin totalitarian regime there.
The diplomats laid flowers on the hill where Kurapaty Stone is installed - it marks the place where the Belarusian authorizes are going to build a memorial. The monument had to commemorate the tragic fates of those who were killed and buried there. To tell you the truth, the authorities have not been able to install the monument for two decades.
