Hleb:When I watch football I want to throw my crutches away and go to pitch
Aliaksandr Hleb walks on crutches round Minsk as he cannot step on the injured foot.
According to the footballer, this is hard and unusual for him. Aliaksandr tries to go out somewhere all the time in order not to get obsessed.
“I'd like to talk to someone. It's a crime to stay at home in such heat. I try to go out to the city, to meet with my friends, to sit on a terrace, to have a cup of coffee or go out of city”.
Euroradio has found out that Hleb's injury requires special medical preparations. In Belarus, only "BATE" has them, and the head of the club's administration Anatol Kapski tries to provide them to Hleb.
Trainings are out of the question by now. According to the footballer's agent Mikalaj Shpileuski, Aliaksandr will be able to give up crutches only in the end of next month.
Shpileuski: “Anatomic injuries require a 2-3 months break. Doctors also say so. You need to do special exercises, and Aliaksandr Hleb does this. He will return to trainings not earlier than in the beginning of August”.
