Kanavalau and Kavalyou not to be pardoned

The TV-Channel reports: "President of Belarus Alyaksandr Lukashenka has taken the decision not to implement pardon with regard to Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou who were sentenced to death penalty by the Supreme Court, due to exceptional danger and extremely severe consequences for the society of the committed acts of terrorism and crimes, combined with killing of a great number of people and causing numerous bodily injuries to the citizens".

Let us remind you, Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou were sentenced to death. They were considered guilty of organizaton of the terrorist attack in the Minsk metro and a series of other blasts.

In Belarus, only the state leader has a right to pardon.
