KGB searches Mikita Krasnou's apartment
"The KGB representatives have searched my parents' apartment today. They've allegedly looked for explosives and other dangerous substances.
They have found nothing", informed Mikita Krasnou to Euroradio.
He wasn't at home at the moment of search.
Let us remind you, Mikita Krasnou and 20 other youth activists were violently detained at the office of one of the youth NGOs. The policemen cut the metallic doors, pinned the youngsters' arms to their sides and handcuffed them. The policemen told them in the police department that they had looked for weapons in the office and made the charges on resistance to the police and participation in a non-sanctioned mass event against the activists.
They took the younsters' personal belongings, bootlaces and belts with a clear intention to put them in the detention center. However, they unexpectedly released the activists, probably in view of the soon arrival of foreign diplomats, OSCE representatives and journalists.
