Metropolitan Filaret to hold solemn service in Hrodna
The copy of the Mother of God wondermaking holy picture "Joy and Consolation", painted by the monks of the Mount Athon monastery in Greece, brought to Hrodna.
It will spent three days in the city - till September 22.
The Athon Mother of God holy picture is believed to heal severe diseases.
Head of the Belarusian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Filaret plans to arrive to Hrodna on Friday in order to head the solemn service.
