Ministry of Defense continues checking information on intruder aircraft
The checking is held by the specialists of the Belarusian military bureau.
This has been informed to the agency "Interfax-West" by the press-center of the Belarusian
Ministry of Defense. Previously they claimed that "there are no facts that
the air border of the Republic of Belarus was crossed".
Let us remind you, it was informed yesterday morning that
teddy bears had been thrown over Minsk. A plane that flew at a low height
from Lithuania is said to have done it. It was informed that the action had
been conducted by the citizens of Sweden. The Belarusian Ministry of Defense
claimed that there was no illegal crossing of our country's air border. It
was also informed that the whole action took place in Sweden. One of the PR
agencies claimed that they wanted to turn attention to the situation with the
freedom of speech in Belarus this way.
However, a video showing the plane flying over Ivyanets and
Minsk, with landing of the teddy bears, appeared later, as well as testimonies
of eye-witnesses and participants of the action.
Yesterday there
appeared non-official information that the military men from the unit
responsible for security of the country's air borders in this region, located
near Smarhon, are allegedly threatened with tribunal for the "teddy bears
landing".
