Minsk City Executive Committee: A street may be named after Chavez
The capital authorities admit that one of Minsk streets may be renamed in honour of the deceased Venezuelan President.
Minsk City Executive Committee told Euroradio about it.
Press service: “The issue will be discussed. We cannot comment on it yet."
Kuibyshau Street or streets in "the red area" situated near Karl Marx, Communist and Lenin Streets could become Chavez Street, unofficial sources reported. It was also said that a bust of the Venezuelan President would be installed in Minsk before his 60th anniversary.
