МТS and vеlсоm increase tariffs
МТS raised the prices by 10-12% in average, and more than by 20% at some tariff plans. vеlсоm increased the prices by 7-9%.
General Manager of the MTS Uladzimir Karpovich explained increase of tariffs by "economic factors". He also referred to the necessity to recompense the expenses for the development of the network and to fulfill the demands of the legislation presented to the mobile operators, writes the newspaper "Zvyazda". The changes covered subscriber payment, inter-network and out-of-network outcoming calls.
velcom increased its prices for outcoming international calls by 12% in average. The operator explains it by increase of tariffs for the company by "Beltelecom".
