Nasha Niva not to be closed or radicalized
The Ministry of Information has cancelled the lawsuit against Nasha Niva but a huge fine may be imposed on the newspaper.
"The Ministry of Information is asking to cancel the lawsuit against Nasha Niva and to return the state fee of 700 thousand rubles paid by the Ministry when the suit was filed”
The court has satisfied the appeal and has not considered the lawsuit filed by the Ministry against the newspaper. The present applauded and nobody was detained.
"It was a real surprise. We would like to express gratitude to everyone who came to the court room. Nobody expected such an outcome. I hope that the hearing of Narodnaya Volya’s case will end the same way in the Supreme Economic Court tomorrow”, - said Andrei Skurko, the editor-in-chef.
Speaking about possible changes in the edition’s policy in connection with the recent events and about the fact whether Nasha Niva was going to be more careful, Mr.Skurko said: “We will not radicalize”.
