Organizers decide not to hold "People's Assembly" in Mahileu
The authorities' pressure has become the reason for that.
The steering committee of the "People's Assembly" in Mahileu decided to send a letter to the head of the city executive committee demanding to answer the questions which had been asked back in October. The questions concerned social and economic situation. The steering committee decided not to conduct the assembly repeatedly under repressions, informs BelaPAN.
Let us remind you, it was decided to conduct a repeated assembly on November 12 during the initial one on October 8 in Mahileu. Later it was postponed due to the authorities' pressure.
