Pardon commission has not considered Andrej Sannikau's request
Member of the Commission and the House of Representatives Mikalaj Samasejka has said this.
According to Samasejka, he found out that the ex-presidential candidate had filed a pardon request back on November 20, "only today from the Internet publications". The commission's last session took place about a month ago, he informed in an interview to the BelaPAN news agency. He does not know when the next session will be.
According to him, the sessions are held when there are enough materials. Many cases are considered at each session, Samasejka says.
Let us remind you, Andrej Sannikau's wife Iryna Khalip stated today that her husband had written a pardon request in Lukashenka's name on November 20, 2011.
