Policemen detain journalist near "Vitsebskdreu"
The editor-in-chief of the website "People's News of Vitsebsk" Syarhei Serabro was taking pictures of yards and a street in the outskirts of the city.
Serabro told Euroradio:
Syarhei Serabro: "I haven't been detained but I am standing here with a policeman now - he is trying to find out whether I can photograph here or not. He is phoning his administration - what a phone drag! The street is being repaired now. It was so bad and now they are asphalting it. They are also doing it in the yards but mostly in the street. The street was so ruined that it was difficult to reach it even by tram."
The journalist was taking pictures near the factory "Pinskdreu" - Alyaksandr Lukashenka is going to visit it soon. Similar state leader's trips to the same kind for factories in Ivatsevichy and Barysau resulted in scandals.
The journalist does not understand why he has been detained.
