Prosecutor’s Office finished metro blast investigation
Minsk metro blast case is about to be sent for trial.
Andrei Shved, deputy Attorney General and head of the investigation department of the General Prosecutor’s Office, has informed about it, reports BelTA.
The preliminary investigation of Minsk metro blast case and the investigation of the explosions in Minsk in 2008 and in Vitsebsk in 2005 have been finished. The case papers have been sent to the prosecutor and will be sent for trial. The trial will most likely take place in the Belarusian Supreme Court.
The Prosecutor’s Office has concluded that Kavalyou and Kanavalau did not have any sponsors or customers. The deputy Attorney General has also claimed that no connection between Minsk blast and Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik has been revealed.
