Two more officials from Homel arrested?
First deputy head of Homel regional executive committee Alyaksandr Baranau and ex-presidential advisor Ihar Prakapenka are reportedly charged with office abuse.
The website "Strong news" reports Baranau and Prakapenka follow the same case as Victar Pilipets, the former head of Homel regional executive committee.
The "falling" of Ihar Prakapenka happened in public. On September 6 he was discharged from the position of the Chief Inspector of Homel region. On September 17, Prakapenka withdrew from the election to the House of Representatives citing "personal reasons", leaivng his electoral district with no competition.
Alyaksandr Baranau 'left" quietly. This reminds of the story with Victar Pilipets' disappearance. The official's name can no longer be found at the website of Homel regional executive committee, and the press office has no information whether Baranau comes to work.
