Two reports drawn up against people helping lonely veteran
Mazyr inhabitants wanted to help a 90-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
They decided to help the pensioner living alone in a village in Naroulya District not far from Mazyr. They visited him at the end of January and brought hot food, products and footwear to him.
The guys published a list of things the veteran needed in the local forums and social networks. They also wanted to ask the Red Cross and the director of Naroulya social service for help. People responded to their call and helped, the website "Strong News" reports.
However, when the volunteers came to the veteran for the second time, policemen had already been waiting for them. They drew up reports for violation of the radiation safety regime in contaminated areas against the guys.
