Rigoni: Authorities and opposition to be invited to Strasbourg
Representatives of the Belarusian authorities and opposition will be invited to the hearings dedicated to Belarus in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, PACE rapporteur on Belarus Andrea Rigoni told Euroradio on December 12.
Rigoni: “We will organize hearings in Strasbourg and invite representatives of the Belarusian authorities and opposition there.”
Thus, both the official and unofficial positions will be presented in the PACE, Rigoni noted. He is planning to finish his report on the situation in Belarus by the end of spring 2017.
