Rumas: We expect Russia to lift ban on Belarusian deliveries on 11 December
According to the Belarusian representative, Rosselhoznadzor exceeded its authority.
On 10 December, Moscow hosted a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Based on its results, the first Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov will order Rosselkhoznadzor to lift the ban on the supplies of Belarusian companies that came under restrictions. It is reported by BELTA with reference to the member of the Eurasian Economic Commission Syargei Rumas.
According to Rumas, council members noted that such a conflict situation and limiting supplies of Belarusian products should not have occurred. "Rosselkhoznadzor exceeded its authority," stated Rumas. Belarusian representative said that this problem had to be considered at the level of first deputy prime ministers, prime ministers and then and only then could a decision to restrict supplies be made.
Rumas said that following the meeting of the ECE Board, a special protocol will be drafted that would guarantee the impossibility of such situations in the future. Belarusian representative also said that the first Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov issued all the necessary orders to Rosselkhoznadzor. Belarus expects that on 11 December ban on exports to Russia will be lifted for part of Belarusian enterprises.
