Russia does not want to buy “Beltransgaz” because it has gas debts

It is economically inexpedient to buy the control stock of “Beltransgaz” that has gas debts. The vice Prime Minister of Russia Igor Sechin has claimed it to journalists, informs RIA Novosti. Sechin stressed that the way Belarus pays the debt for Russian gas should be put under legal control. And it is up to “Gazprom” whether to buy the control stock of “Beltransgaz” or not.

Let us remind you that Russia claimed that the indebtedness of “Beltransgaz” for Russian gas totalled 192 million dollars on May 1.
