Russian Ambassador: gas conflict is settled
The Russian Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov thinks that the gas conflict has been settled. He claimed it before the opening of the 37th session of the Parliamentary congress of the Union of Belarus and Russia, informs BelaPAN. According to the head of the diplomatic mission, the two sides have paid off their debts and there are only a few “additional agreements”. However, everyone was wise in the last few days and all restrictions have been lifted. It will be necessary to work according to the terms of the treaty in the future, says the Ambassador. In his opinion, if such quarrels occur in the future, it will be better to settle them “in court”.
