Russian gas to cost $125 for Belarus, Belarusians ask for more coal
The price for Russian gas will be $125 for a thousand cubic meters in Belarus in 2008. The deputy Minister of Industry and Energy of Russia Ivan Materov has informed about it. “The price formula is like that. The price may change for about 10 USD more or less”, - he said. The deputy Minister added that all the terms of supplies should be discussed till the end of this year. Materov is sure that companies should conduct the negotiations instead of officials.
The deputy Minister of Industry and Energy of Russia also informed journalists that Belarus had asked to increase coal supplies by several times. However, according to him, it will not influence gas supplies.
