Russian pilots study future flight routes in Belarus
Russian Air Force fighter jets are in operational readiness near Babruisk, Mahilyou Province.
Russians sent six Su-27 fighters and transport aircraft to Belarus “for air reconnaissance and defence of the allied state”. The reason is “enhanced NATO activities near the Belarus borders”.
The crews and technical personnel of air regiment 159 and air division 105 of the Western district of the Russian Federation arrived there, RIA Novosti reports. The Russian pilots organized “a festive ritual” in the airdrome Babruisk.
Russian fighters have also been in combat readiness in another Belarusian airdrome in Baranavichy since the end of 2013.
