Russian stock market collapses
The Russian stock market has collapsed today, on March 21, the agency Prime reports.
The RTS index decreased by 3.07% – to 1115.52 points, MMVB has decreased by 2.46% – to 1288.08 points, epravda.com.ua reports.
Analysts expected the Russian stock market not to change much regardless of the increasing political tension.
Barack Obama allowed imposing sanctions on the key sectors of the Russian economy on Thursday.
"Russia should understand that the further escalation will only enhance its isolation from the international community. We will keep strengthening the NATO collective security and cooperating with Europe in economic and energy safety,” the U.S. President noted.
