Shushkevich not to attend funeral of Lech Kaczyński
However, the former head of the Supreme Council Stanislau Shushkevich was on friendly terms with Lech Kaczyński. He has claimed it in an interview with ERB. Stanislau Shushkevich: “It is not a good idea to visit graves with a delegation. This is a Soviet method, I don’t like it. I have to be there but I feel that I will only a face in the crowd. As ERB has already informed, the BNF party is going to send democratic representatives to the funeral of Lech Kaczyński in Krakow on March 18. However, according to Stanislau Shushkevich, nobody has offered him to join the delegation.
