Siarhej Sliusar detained for attack on Babrujsk KGB
The activist of anarchist movement Siarhej Sliusar has been detained in the pre-trial detention center in Babrujsk since October 17. He was detained after someone threw two fiery bottles at the KGB building in Babrujsk. A criminal case was started upon the fact. According to the web-site "Viasna", the attack on the KGB building in Babrujsk was committed on the night of October 16-17. A few hours later the police arrived to Siarhej Sliusar's house, where he lives with his parents, woke him up and interrogated. His father claimed Siarhej had been at home and hadn't gone out.
In the afternoon on October 17 investigators and KGB representatives searched his apartment and confiscated several CDs, computer hardware and a bottle of solvent. A representative of Babrujsk KGB informed Siarhej's parents they would take him away for several hours. Instead of that, they detained him for 3 days already. It is still unknown whether they presented Siarhej Sliusar an accusation.
Euroradio's correspondent was told in Babrujsk city police administration that this case was under the jurisdiction of KGB.
Besides, Sliusar was detained before on September 3 upon the suspicion in the attack on the Russian Embassy. However, on September 12 he was released without presenting an accusation.
