Social democrats have no candidate for President
Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada) does not have its own candidate for President. None has been appointed at the latest meeting of the Party presidium. This was informed by the leader of the party Anatol Liaukovich, to the European Radio for Belarus.
The party will decide whom to support at the Central Committee meeting or at the Congress. However, the party members can enter initiative groups of any of the candidates, by their own.
Liaukovich: "Today we don't have a person who would form the initiative group. The decision on whether the party will support anyone, will be taken at the meeting of the Central Committee or at the Congress. However, all the party members will be involved in this campaign. The candidates who will form initiative groups can just address to the activists in the regions directly”.
