A short notice was distributed by the Republican unitary enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant later. It was reported that a worker had died during construction works at the construction site of the Belarusian NPP. The Investigation Committee reported more details later. A metal container fell upon a 43-year-old fitter from RosSEM Trust.
