Supreme Court considers Uladzimir Maltsau’s appeal today
The convicted Borisovdrev ex-CEO’s appeal is 300 pages long.
Uladzimir Maltsau’s appeal is being considered in the Supreme Court today, on April 7. Minsk Province Court returned him guilty of power abuse on January 20. 2014. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in a top security colony. His property was not confiscated. He was also forbidden to take administrative positions for five years.
Maltsau will have to return 1 billion 906 million roubles to the enterprise. All the arrested property will be used for paying the debt. Moreover, Maltsu will have to pay the state duty of 95 million roubles.
The complaint is 300 pages long, Maltsau’s wife Alena told Radio Liberty.
Maltsau’s appeal will be considered in his presence, the court decided on April 7. It will be done on April 17.
