Supreme Court head explains Salamatsina’s murder sentence
The murderer’s mother got 2 years because the investigators found no traces of cynical body defilement in the case.
Head of the Supreme Court Valyantsin Sukala has commented on the murder of Yuliya Salamatsina for SB. Belarus Today. Minsker Pavel Tsynyauski was imprisoned for 17 years for killing the young woman. His mother who had helped him get rid of the body was sentenced to 2 years.
Halina Tsynauskaya’s sentence was too soft, many people reckon. However, the court works according to the charges. “Probably, there were no traces of cynical defilement of the body in that case,” he noted.
The court has to find out whether the body defilement was intended or not, the head of the Supreme Court noted.
