Swine flu epidemic officially announced in Ukraine
An epidemic of swine flu A/H1N1 has started in Ukraine. The Minister of Healthcare of the country Vasil Knyazevich has claimed it.
According to him, the Ministry of Healthcare is planning to quarantine the whole Ukrainian territory, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
According to different sources, from 30 to 37 people have died of a virus causing pulmonary edema in our southern neighbouring state.
Doctors suppose that the reason for the deaths may be a special development of atypical pneumonia. At the same time, it may be the virus of swine flu.
