Syarhei Sіdorskі — new opposition presidential “contender”

“Narodnaya Volya” has published a reader’s letter with a suggestion to make the acting Belarusian Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski an opposition presidential contender. The author of the letter thinks that the authorities may allow such a contender to take part in the elections. He calls Sidorski “a pragmatic economic manager” who knows the country’s economy well.
Progressive opposition leaders should offer the PM their moral and political support. The future President will probably use their help and will create his cabinet with the help of professionals rather than current officials. It is desirable that Syarhei Sidorski should make a public announcement of his intention to run for President soon, thinks the reader of “Narodnaya Volya”.
