Taxpayer list to be drafted to find freeloaders in Belarus
Lawyers believe that avoiding paying the tax will be almost impossible.
A list of taxpayers will be drafted in Belarus to find freeloaders. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Valer Kavalkou.
As the official said during the hotline on the Labor Ministry website, the list of payers to fund government spending will drafted be the Ministry of Taxes and Duties in together with other public bodies.
Kavalkou said that information about the freeloaders found thia way will be sent to the local and tax authorities. And they in turn will send messages to the freeloaders urging them to pay the tax.
Lawyer Tamara Sidarenka believes that it will be almost impossible to avoid the "freeloading" tax. "Right now, we have a high level of computerization in the tax services. It is very difficult to hide. There is mandatory registration. I think it will be difficult to avoid paying tax," said the lawyer.
