Teleport to Czech Republic launched: Party at embassy

Euroradio on June 25 launched the third teleport at the Czech embassy in Minsk. The winners got their presents, tasted real Czech beer and simply had fun, with DJ Kendoo playing.
Euroradio, in turn, got to know personally the new 'teleportonauts' and learned once again that participants of our contest are fine and trendy people! The list of guests also included those who always participate in our teleports. Apart from an opportunity to travel to Europe, our contests give a chance to raise your mood at a work place and to make friends.

Regular participant: "One day, Alena comes to our room and says she has won again. (Alena is the winner of the previous 'Lithuanian" weeks -- Euroradio). On the next day, we see the name of yet another friend on the web site. We come to her and say that she is the winner but she did not even believe us".

Euroradio believes that visa is not the only reason why people participated actively in the Czech teleport. The main goal of the project was to see the Czech Republic with your own eyes. It seems we achieved our goal.

Alyaksandra:  “ I used to know almost nothing what was in the reports. I was in the Czech Republic but on a usual tour. I tasted beer and regular things like that. But I did not know things about the Czech Republic".

It felt good to spot good friends among the winners. On the first day of the teleport, Belarus' famous musician Pasha (Pavel Ambiont) won. It was especially pleasant, because Pasha never takes part in contests. We became an exception.

Pasha: “First, I saw info on the web site, but did not think about participating. Then, a friend told me not to be lazy and to answer questions. Here I am as one of winners”.

Every participant of Teleport to Czech Republic found its own topic. Andrus, the winner of the sixth day, was especially interested in information about university life:

“Since I plan to study in the Czech Republic, for instance, it was interesting to take part in your contest. Especially, I liked a report about universities and life in Prague in general".

It is also pleasant that Teleport to Czech Republic was appreciated by officials from the Czech embassy. The plus is that Euroradio and the embassy had a similar vision of the project's goal: to show the national authentity and the Czech Republic different from the eyes of ordinary students.

Martin Czech, first secretary of the Czech embassy in Minsk: "We like this project, because your listeners can learn something special about the Czech Republic. When people go for a short tour they can see what happens on streets, what is on sale in shops, but they don't learn anything about the life of people, the political and cultural climate in the country”.

"This project is about the things that move in a different direction than the main stream. People will learn more about the Czech Republic than simple associations like beer and Skoda cars”, added Martin Czech.

What is the main winner of the teleport Dzyanis going to do in the Czech Republic?

Dzyanis: “First I will go to Prague. I don't know whereabout exactly. Afterwards, to Brno. I definitely want to visit a Czech theater. By the way, this is not the first time we are winning. My wife was one of winners of the Dutch teleport”.

Thus, Euroradio's teleports are somthing absolutely real, sincere and relaxed. No officialisms! Let's get relaxed in a European way!

Euroradio: "Why did you take part in the project?"

Andrus: "Just to get hot" (laughing)
