Ticket collectors catch usual number of stowaways after benefits cancellation
The number of ticket collectors working in Minsk on the day of benefits cancellation was doubled (there are usually 30 or 40 teams working in the capital on a regular day).
But they caught the usual number of stowaways, claims the head of the city transport control department “Minsktrans” Anatol Dzemidovich:
“The number of people violating the rules has remained the same. It neither increased nor decreased. But “don't count your chickens before they are hatched”. So we will only see whether the number of stowaways increased or not at the end of the month.
The average statistics shows that we fine about eight or eight and a half thousand people every month”.
