Tourist gathering dated for Hrodna anniversary to take place on August Canal
A two-day tourist gathering has started on August Canal today, on July 19. It is dated for the 880th anniversary of Hrodna.
The event has already become a tradition, it is the 10th time it has been organized. Competitions take place near the Astashanka River situated not far from the canal. 12 teams of employees of the city’s enterprises and organizations are taking part in them. There are about 250 participants.
The programme includes paddling, tourist relay race, orienteering, contests of tourist songs, photos and others.
