Transport Ministry: Driving school fees might reach $500
The fees at driving schools in Belarus could exceed Br1 million ($500), including the cost of fuel, the Ministry of Transport today said. However, exact figures are yet to be announced. The driving shcools will have to get their fees approved and registered at the local councils and to justify their growth.
The Ministry of Transport is confident that the tariffs will not soar. Otherwise, it would cause a significant drop in the number of those seeking to obtain driving licenses.
Currently, driving school fees amount to an average of Br600,000 plus Br200,000 for the cost of fuel, reports Belapan.
