Trenches dug around ‘Belarusian Maldives’
Krasnaselskiya Karyery have been closed for tourists this year because ‘the pits are 50 metres deep and there are bacteria in the water’.
Krasnaselskiya Karyery situated near Vaukavysk are often called ‘the Belarusian Maldives’ for their picturesque views. However, huge trenches have been dug around them this year to prevent tourists from coming.
The information appeared on STV. Police helpers from Krasnaselskaye enterprise will be patrolling the area.
Even an evacuator will be used to prevent tourists from visiting the spot. There are bacteria in the water and the open pit is 50 meters deep, the enterprise employees say.
